Dec. 6th marked my 75th birthday, and I have submitted my request to Bishop Edward Burns to retire from active ministry here at Immaculate Conception. However, I will maintain my diaconate faculties and assist when needed. I can help the pastor in emergencies and answer parishioners’ requests. My declining health has caused me to slow down my active ministry. But please understand I am not leaving and will be here to help you in any way I can - primarily through prayer, intercession, and counseling, as I have for the past 31 years.
My retirement date has been granted by the bishop and will be effective on Jan. 18, 2023 - the anniversary of my ordination. My priority remains the same, to serve the diocese of Dallas and the people of Immaculate Conception forever. All I ask is for your continued prayers and support - let’s get to heaven together.
