In 1926 Pope Pius XI instituted Mission Sunday for the whole Church, with the first worldwide Mission Sunday collection in October 1927. The Mission Sunday collection is always taken on the next to last Sunday during October. That day is celebrated in all the local Churches as the feast of Catholicity and universal solidarity so Christians worldwide will recognize their shared responsibility with regard to the evangelization of the world.

With great joy, we help parents and children prepare to celebrate the sacrament of Baptism. A parent or legal guardian must register in person for the pre-baptismal class at the parish office. The last day to register for this class is Tuesday, October 31. Childcare will not be provided during the course.
