INCLEMENT WEATHER NOTICE!! FOR CHURCH RELATED ACTIVITIES AND OFFICE:
It is your right and responsibility to determine whether it is safe and/or wise to travel when road conditions may be hazardous. The parish office maintains the policy of remaining open during bad weather, unless the severity of conditions or municipal entities close. Employees should make every reasonable effort to get to work, unless otherwise notified.
If our school decides to close due to weather, then our office opening is delayed until noon, the weekday morning Mass schedule will be delayed until noon. Morning parish activities will be canceled. By 11:00 am the pastor or pastoral adminstrator will make a decision to close the office for the day or keep the delayed opening.
If the parish office will be closed for the day, daytime events will be cancelled until 5 PM.
In the event of early dismissal, for evening events starting after 5 PM, the program leader will make the decision. The program leader must decide by 3 PM and communicate it to their participants.
The pastor or parish administrator has the final decision on parish and school related activities.
Teen Drivers: If any doubt of hazardous weather conditions exists, parents should not have their teens drive to Parish events. Teens are much more likely to have accidents in bad weather. Life Teen Activities are always cancelling in the event of a winter weather advisory or winter storm warning overlapping any of the event. Life teen cancellations are communicated on our Life Teen Facebook page, via parents, emails and on the Parish website and special announcement line.
